_Experience_
Early career
I started my career in 2002 doing cold calls for a small business and then worked as an insurance adjuster, settling complex claims with bodily injuries. For eight years after that in the same industry I held leadership positions in sales, responsible for training salespeople within the companies as well as for their partners. That's what prompted a deep dive into various training methodologies and approaches to sales and negotiations.
Training background
2015-2018 I worked as a trainer for a company specializing in emotional intelligence in sales and negotiations. The focus was on not on teaching people what to say or ask, but how to read other people's true attitudes and intents, and how to manage their own behavior, so it doesn't get in the way. This approach allows to make a solid connection with another person and avoid typical power struggles, like "overcoming objections".
Forging my methods in business
In 2019-2023 I worked as a full-time deal-maker and a problem-solver for an international industrial developer, battle-testing my skills and methodology in a big business. I helped my team navigate through countless challenges and put together over $130,000,000 worth of contracts with no prior experience in the industry.
My example confirms what many thought leaders have been saying for years: success depends much more on skillful communication than industry expertise.
Now
Today I still do work for CRE developers, but mostly focus on coaching. I help people find lasting motivation, handle difficult communications and conflicts, based on a simple, yet highly effective methodology. Unlike many others, I do not focus on intellectual concepts, which end up just cluttering people's minds and make little impact on results. My approach is based on working through clients' real situations and developing relevant skills, which boost their performance instantly and permanently.
